The 21-year-old tennis sensation has teamed up with Netflix for a show that will follow his remarkable 2024 tennis season, during which he claimed victories in some of the biggest tournaments of the year, including Roland Garros and Wimbledon.

Alcaraz took to Instagram to announce the title and release date of his upcoming project. The series, called A Mi Manera (or My Way in English), will debut on April 23.

Though specific details about the series remain under wraps, Netflix’s description teases: “This documentary series follows Carlos Alcaraz as he juggles the demands of a rising tennis career with the carefree spirit of a 20-year-old.”

In a past interview with Netflix, Alcaraz shared his thoughts on the project, highlighting its unique format and what viewers can expect. “People will get to see everything you don’t typically see on a tennis court,” he said. “I think it’s something really different.”

Alcaraz’s collaboration with Netflix

Although this is Alcaraz’s most significant project with Netflix, the two have previously teamed up for the Netflix Slam, a tennis tournament featuring top-tier players in various matches.

In one memorable match, Alcaraz faced off against Rafael Nadal, emerging victorious and having the opportunity to compete against one of his idols.

I’m truly honored and thrilled to be sharing the court with Rafa in Las Vegas,” Alcaraz said ahead of the match. “He’s a legend, and his records and accomplishments speak for themselves.”

My Way is part of Netflix’s growing lineup of sports content, which has garnered widespread praise in recent months and years. Other notable titles include the soccer docuseries LALIGA, along with shows like Formula 1: Drive to Survive, Full Swing, Quarterback, and more.
